It is a good question, and one that drives the leadership development conversations in organizations around the world. Organizations that understand the value of growing leaders for both today and the future have the best chance for success. All strategy, culture, growth, and more comes from leaders. Consequently, developing them is paramount for organizational health and growth. And yet, there is much consternation and frustration about how to do it.
That is why I am laying out a roadmap for leadership development that works in the real world.
You see, if being a better leader were solely about accumulating knowledge and information, you could read a book or attend a workshop and PRESTO! You would be a great, even a Remarkable Leader. But leadership is about skills and behaviors. Therefore, for people to become the leaders they were born to be, more than knowledge is needed.

I am releasing a series of new videos to explain the approach, why it works, and how to connect it to what you already know and what you are already doing to develop the leaders in your organization.
Today, I am inviting you to be at the front of the line when this complimentary video series is released. It’s a master class for how we learn, and how to translate leadership learning into leadership action. All with real-world techniques, not textbook theories.
I’ll explore principles, give examples, and give you a roadmap to true remarkable leadership in your organization. Along the way, I will also help you understand why you might be frustrated by how little impact your existing leadership development activities are having.
This series, titled The Journey to Remarkable Leadership, is a master class in understanding why leadership development is so important to our organizations and how to really make it happen. It will outline a variety of ways to overcome the status quo in leadership development, so that more of your leaders will be able to move your organization forward.
We’re putting the finishing touches on the videos now. Each one will be informational, inspirational, and practical. Together, they provide a roadmap for organizations to develop leaders in the real world. But before I wrap them all up, I want to know what you want to know.
