It is hard to deny the importance of building connections to us as leaders. In a recent webinar hosted by Michael Stallard, author of Fired Up or Burned Out I talked about Remarkable Leaders Building Connections.
In this 30 minute webinar, I talk about how we as leaders can benefit, the barriers we face, and I share some very specific ideas on how to build connections more carefully and intentionally. Building deeper connections can deepen trust and help us have greater leadership influence. These connections can also help us in team leadership and leadership communication.
In the end (and well, at the beginning too) leadership is about relationships. We are trying to help people move in the direction of our vision. We can do this more easily, quickly and enjoyably, when we have deeper connections with the people we lead.
