		<description>Ah the classic change scenario.  Every new leader will be faced with this eventually because we are surrounded by a rapidly changing world.  With every major change effort you also get the classic change curve, you have some early adopters, then the majority that come along in the middle, and finally some folks at the end that may be actively resisting.  Steps 1 - 4 are critical for building empathy that will facilitate communication, but around steps 5 - 6 the leaders also needs to identify why the change is important for the resisting people and make it important FOR THEM.  Usually resistors haven&#039;t made this connection to the change.  Finally, if they still refuse I can&#039;t emphasize enough the importance of being bold when dealing with someone that still refuses to change.  The situation cannot be ignored or else it will impact the morale of everyone around them.</description>
