As leaders we want to encourage, support and accelerate performance, productivity and success of those following us. One of the many ways we can do this is by taking the time, and making the time to celebrate with our teams.
I have observed that celebrations cause consternation for many leaders; raising questions like when to celebrate, why to celebrate and how to celebrate. In the second post in my ongoing series of things I’ve learned in 16 years of business, I wrote a Leadership Primer for Celebrations.
I urge you to read this leadership article today. While some may feel decisions about celebrating are simply a matter of leadership styles, I disagree. Celebrating is important, and doing it well can impact your leadership influence significantly. (As can not doing it at all!)
