Nine Great Questions for Leaders

Questions – they are a critical to the ultimate success of a Remarkable Leader.

They support our leadership influence and our leadership communication (and a lot more). Yet the power of questions and the skills in asking them effectively is rarely included in leadership skill training.

This month members of the Remarkable Leadership Learning System are working on building this most important skill.

I have challenged all of our members to create a list of great questions that they can use in any number of situations to engage the hearts and minds of those they lead.

To commemorate 9/9/09, below I’m sharing nine great questions we can use as leaders often.

What is your fondest wish?

What is your intention?

How would you suggest we proceed?

What is your recommendation?

How do you think/feel about it?

What do you see contributing to this problem?

What is the best next step?

What is your biggest concern?

Can you say more about that?

While these are great questions, it is how and when you use them that will make the biggest difference. My challenge to you is to use these, and add to the list.

When you do, you will become a more powerful question asker and a more Remarkable Leader.
